They are hand double knotted from pure lamb’s wool. It would look great in both Modern and Traditional houses. These handmade vintage rugs like fine wine get better with age.
This rug is a vintage Neshaboor. More than 470 villages that make up Nishapur or Neyshabur County, carpet and rug weaving is a common activity. The largest carpets in the world were woven in Nishapur Carpet Workshops, including carpets for the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Armenian Presidential Palace, Finland’s Embassy in Tehran, and Mohammed Al-Ameen Mosque in Oman.
