These are Vintage Persian Over-dyed rugs. They have unique , rustic , timeless feel and look to them.
They are hand double knotted from pure lamb’s wool. It would look great in both Modern and Traditional houses. This one is a vintage over-dyed Tabriz.
Tabriz has been known to have played a major role in development of rich traditions of the decorative and applied arts. Tabriz rugs have one distinguishing factor among all the Persian rugs, the classification of the quality based on knot density per square metre.
This particular piece is over-dyed with a salmony hue which makes the pattern and the blues in the rug stand out.
